Data Use and Privacy

One question we often get is "what happens to my data", and what people usually mean is what happens to the face scan biometrics?

First of all, I-AM-HUMAN does not store any biometric data. We are GDPR compliant. Read on to find out more.

Face Verification SBT Data

What does I-AM-HUMAN store?

  • We store metadata that includes: SBT ID, minted timestamp, and expiration timestamp.

  • We also keep a record of a subset of the same data in a private database, along with your NEAR account address and application timestamp.

What does Fractal store?

  • Fractal stores a hash of your 3D face profile. This data is stored off-chain and not publicly accessible. You can request your data to be deleted by emailing mailto:privacy@fractal.id

  • Fractal also stores other data you gave them as part of the account creation and login procedure. Typically this would be your name, email and/or phone number. Again, access to this is tightly managed.

What happens to the video selfie?

  • Fractal servers use it during the face verification session which is used to verify your uniqueness.

What does I-AM-HUMAN store

  • We store your SBT ID on-chain along with metadata such as minted timestamp and expiration timestamp.

  • We also keep off-chain records of your application, which includes your Telegram phone number, along with your NEAR address and application timestamp. This data is kept in an access controlled private PostGreSQL database.

GDPR

For Fractal, you can request removal of your Fractal data by emailing privacy@fractal.id.

For I-AM-HUMAN, you can automatically delete all of your data in I-AM-HUMAN, by logging in with your wallet, going to Privacy section and clicking on "Manage My Privacy", then completing through the "Revoke my SBTs" flow.

Please note once your data is deleted, all your existing Soul Bound Tokens associated with I-AM-HUMAN are burned.
